Skin over fifty
Vellum is a small studio in Burlington for skin that has had some years. Our two licensed estheticians give slower facials of 75 or 90 minutes, with warm towels, tea and a note in large type to take home. We are accepting new clients.

The slow facial
A slow facial has the cleansing, the warm towels, the massage and the mask of any good facial, given room to breathe. We talk first, we pause whenever you like, and we never hurry you toward the door.
Choose 75 minutes, or 90 if you'd like a longer massage and a longer rest at the end.

Your estheticians

Jacquelyn opened Vellum so that nobody over fifty would feel hurried in a treatment room. She does the first visits and most of the 90-minute slow facials. Tuesday to Thursday.

Jeanne has given facials for most of her working life and is known for patient hands and a quiet room. Wednesday to Saturday.
“I never once looked at the clock, and nobody else did either. I walked out feeling looked after.”
“Jeanne told me what she was going to do before she did it. The towels were warm, and so were her hands.”
“The note I took home was printed big enough to read without my glasses. I've kept every one.”
